Rett grew upin a small and very remotecommunity in North Idaho called Priest Lake and has been involved with all forms of outdoor recreation his entire life. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast that loves mountaineering, telemark skiing, snowboarding, rafting, kayaking, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, climbing, biking and is open to pretty much any activity that gets adrenaline pumping. More specifically, he's climbed most of the peaks in the Northwest and spent 22 days climbing Mt. Logan in the Canadian Yukon. He has 20 years of experience backcountry skiing out of yurts, tents and snow caves alike. Rett spent six months in Nepal attending the University of Kathmandu and while there he floated a Class IV stretch of the Bhote Kosi river and climbed to the basecamp of Makalu, the 5th highest peak in the world. Rett has worked in the outdoor industry for the University of Idaho Outdoor Program, Northwest River Supplies and Backcountry.com. He now lives in Park City with his wife of 18years and five children from 4-16 years old. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Idaho.
