Kimmie Tu, Edelweiss Athlete, decided to temporarily rent a place in Las Vegas to climb in Red Rock Canyon. Her main goal for climbing in Red Rock Canyon was to improve her trad climbing skills and tackle as many multi-pitch climbs as she could. She was able to do quite a few but finding a willing partner to go on a suffer-fest with her was not easy.
Edelweiss ambassador Josie McKee talks about her trip to Nepal with Savannah Cummins and Dawa Yangzum. They went to the Rolwaling Valley with the intent of bolting multiple sport climbing routes for the locals, but found that the act of adding bolts to the landscape was a perhaps a tougher mental challenge than physical.
